Monday Outlook 8-10-09

For today's outlook there is basically one big area in which to track severe storm development. The area to watch will be the western/northern plains into the ohio valley and mid atlantic areas. A slight tornado risk will exist in NE Colorado and another slight tornado risk will exist in the ohio valley states. A elevated hail risk exists for NE Colorado as well. Heat will continue to be a factor today along areas of the east coast and mid atlantic states where heat advisories have been issued. As always if you are facing hot conditions it is advised that you stay in a cool area and drink plenty of fluids.
