Saturday Outlook 8-15-09

There is only one area of concern today and that will be in the northern plains states. Areas like CO,NE,SD,KS,WY,ND,MN and Iowa. A slight risk for tornadoes exists in the CO,NE and Wyoming areas. A moderate hail threat exists in the same 3 states. All the other areas in that outlook will have a risk for wind and hail as is the norm with any severe thunderstorm. Remember folks that heat remains in force around the nation and you are encouraged to drink plenty of liquids and stay in cool areas.
