Thursday Outlook 7-30-09

Here is today's severe weather outlook. There is only one area of concern today and that will be over the southern plains states in areas like TX and NM. Only a slight risk for tornado activities exists here. As always the common risk for wind and hail threats will remain a factor. Some stray storms in the northeast may manage to development but they are not expected to be severe very much by any means. Folks keep an eye on that heat. Drink plenty of liquids and stay in a cool room if possible.
