Two days ago, a rather strong seabreeze Collision had occured along the coast and caused waterspouts to form just off the coast of Ormond Beach. One of these waterspouts came ashore and was classified as a EF0 tornado with no damage caused. Another tornado formed in Port Orange and caused significant damage, damaging at least 152 homes, but was only classified as a EF0. It caused for the county to become a State of Emergency.

Tornadoes from 2 days ago Empty Do we need Sirens?

    Post  Florida_Watcher Sun Jul 26, 2009 9:54 pm

The tornadoes also bring up the question: Why do we not have any tornado sirens in Florida? Florida has the most tornadoes per a square mile than any other state but we do not have any sirens. So give me your opinion on what you think?
